A Story

A bite of the Moon, took the bloody Goon.
An universal mess, such bad press!
Jupiter filed a case.
Mayor of the Cranky Crook
Devised a damage control plan.
The hawk-nosed put the Bluest of Whales up for sale.
The skies above each planet, fought tooth and nail.
The Red Mars won the bid,
Sliced the beauty in the mid.
There were more black than blue.
Red queen decided to sue.
It was murkier at the best,
Little blue-bird hid all its eggs in hi-tech secured nest.
There was panic, the seas were low,
Land was dry, no grass to mow.
Utter chaos,God gave a sigh,
He was ousted from the No Man's Land's sky.
Sad and dejected He climbed the hills,
From where you could see the Dutch wind-mills.
Cranky Mayor had to pay the bills.
A little boy who played with colored clay,
Was good with the hues, if you may.
He made the missing piece of moon in silvery gray,
Glued it back by the receding Bay.
The water began to rise as he ran back,
He gathered all his blues and threw it to the skies.
God chucked His plan of secret demise,
Promptly took charge and distributed the color well.
The Universe was pleased and all was swell.
